What people ask before saying hello

What if I freeze up and feel stupid?

That is the normal way to start, and it is exactly what this is for. No class, no grade, nobody watching. Go quiet and she waits; stumble and she carries on as if nothing happened. You can stop halfway and come back tomorrow.

Is it a real conversation or a script?

You both talk out loud, at the same time, about whatever comes up. She corrects you inside her reply instead of stopping you. And she remembers what you told her last time — ask her to slow down, repeat, or explain in your language, and turn the dial from «talk to me» to «teach me» mid-conversation.

I do not have time.

Five minutes count. No homework, no streak to keep alive, and she remembers you just the same.

Years of classes and I still cannot hold a conversation.

Because classes teach you about the language; nobody made you use it. Here it is the other way round: you talk from the first minute, and the grammar comes in only when it helps you say what you were trying to say.

My level is zero. Will I understand anything?

What happens after the free chat?

She remembers it. If you want to keep talking, you pick a plan. If not, nothing is charged.

Is my voice recorded?

No. It travels to be understood and is discarded. What stays is the notebook — what she remembers of you. How your data is handled.
